The gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped organ located beneath the liver there in upper right part of the abdomen.
The gall bladder's function would be to hold the yellow-colored liquid know as bile juice, that helps digestion.
Gallstones develop when there is an inordinate amount of cholesterol in the blood. These come in all sorts of sizes, from of the size of a grain to that of a golf ball. Furthermore, multiple gallstones may be present simultaneously.
If a person has significant gallstone symptoms, he or she should consider having the gallbladder removed. Otherwise, if the stones do not create any issues, therapy may not be necessary.
